This privacy policy will explain how LetzBarefoot S.à r.l. (“we”, “us” and/or “our” as the context demands) use the personal data we collect from you when you use our website.

In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English version and any translated version of this Privacy Policy, the English version will prevail.

What data do we collect?

We collect the following data:

  • Personal identification information (Name, email address, home address, phone number, username and password, etc.).

You directly provide us with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Register online or place an order for any of our products or services.

When we process your order, it may send your data to, and also use the resulting information from, credit reference agencies to prevent fraudulent purchases.

How do we store your data?

We securely store your data on servers based in Luxembourg. To protect your personal data, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practice to ensure that it is not lost, misappropriated, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed inappropriately. We will keep your personal data for five (5) years. Once this time period has expired, we will delete your data, save where we have an overriding legal obligation to retain such data.

If you provide us with your credit card information, it will be encrypted using the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol and stored with AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all the requirements of the PCI-DSS standard and implement additional standards generally recognised by the industry.

Hosting

Our shop uses PrestaShop CMS and is hosted by UP-Concept. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that enables us to sell you our services and products. Your data is stored in the company's data storage system and may, from time to time, be stored on other databases, on servers based with Europe. Your data is stored on a secure server protected by a firewall.

Payment details

If you make your purchase via a direct payment gateway, our payment service provider will store your credit card information. This information is encrypted in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction information is retained as long as necessary to complete your order. Once your order has been finalised, the information relating to the purchase transaction is deleted.

All direct payment gateways comply with the PCI-DSS standard, managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is the result of a joint effort by companies such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. The requirements of the PCI-DSS standard ensure the secure processing of credit card data by our shop and its service providers. When a payment is made on the site, proof of the transaction, including the order form and the invoice, will be kept in the site editor's computer systems.

Marketing

We would like to send you information about products and services of ours that we think you might like, as well as those of our partner companies if you consent.

If you have agreed to receive marketing, you may always opt out at a later date.
